University of South Carolina track & field senior Ncincilili Titi now holds the fastest indoor 200m time in the world this season, according to the International Association of Athletics Federations. Titi ran his world-leading time of 20.45 Saturday in Clemson, S.C., and the mark topped the international leaderboard released Monday by the IAAF.

W. Basketball. Wilson, Harris Lead No. 10 Gamecocks Past Kentucky 81-64

A'ja Wilson scored 26 points after missing two games because of an ankle injury, leading No. 10 South Carolina over Kentucky 81-64 Sunday. Wilson, who tops the Southeastern Conference in scoring with 23.2 points per game, showed no ill effects in her return from a sprained right ankle. He shot 10 for 12 and also had eight rebounds. Former Kentucky forward Alexis Jennings added 17 points and seven rebounds for the Gamecocks (16-3, 5-2). The junior averaged 8.9 points and 5.4 rebounds during her two seasons with the Wildcats.

M. Tennis. Gamecocks Improve to 4-0 After Doubleheader

South Carolina men's tennis brought home two more wins after a doubleheader in Davidson, N.C., on Saturday. The Gamecocks took down Elon and Davidson by matching 6-1 scores on their way to a 4-0 start to the season.

M. Basketball. Turner’s 25 leads No. 21 Tennessee past South Carolina

Lamonte Turner matched his career high with 25 points, and No. 21 Tennessee pounded the ball inside to get past South Carolina 70-63 on Saturday night. With the scored tied at 59, Turner made a short jumper and found Admiral Schofield in the corner for a 3-pointer on a fast break, and Tennessee (13-5, 4-3 Southeastern Conference) led the rest of the way. Turner also made all 10 of his free throws, including four in the final 36 seconds as the Volunteers snapped a three-game losing streak to the Gamecocks (12-7, 3-4).

Swimming & Diving. Gamecock Women Top Georgia Tech at Home

South Carolina women's swimming and diving took home a win over Georgia Tech on Saturday at home. The Gamecocks topped the Yellow Jackets 176.5-118.5 with a total of 14 first-place finishes. The South Carolina men dropped a 168-130 decision to No. 24 Georgia Tech.

The University of South Carolina track & field team posted another strong day of work Saturday on the second day of the Clemson Invitational. Ncincilili Titi led the way, running the fastest 200m time in the NCAA this season.

No. 10/10 South Carolina opens its home-and-home series with SEC-rival Kentucky Sunday in Lexington. The Gamecocks have won the last six against the Wildcats, and Sunday marks the first game in which only one team is ranked since February 2012.
