South Carolina men’s tennis head coach Josh Goffi added four signees this week in Joseph Brailovsky, Nick Watson, Jacob Beasley and Patrick Cacciatore, who will all join the Gamecocks’ program for the 2018-19 season.

In their latest Division I Men’s National Singles Rankings, Oracle and the Intercollegiate Tennis Association placed four Gamecock men in the top 125. Francisco Cerunodolo, Yancy Dennis, Gabriel Friedrich and Thomas Mayronne each earned spots in the rankings after strong performances in the 2017 fall season.

South Carolina men’s tennis sophomore Paul Jubb compeleted the fall season for the Gamecocks on Thursday. Jubb represented his home country of Great Britain at the Niceville ITF Futures, where he made it through to the round of 16 in the main draw.

After battling his way through the qualifying bracket, Paul Jubb earned his first win of the main draw of the Niceville ITF Futures on Tuesday. The sophomore Gamecock defeated Carl Soderlund to advance to the second round, which he will play in on Thursday.

South Carolina men’s tennis earned individual wins at the Georgia Tech Invitational and the Niceville ITF Futures on Sunday. Paul Jubb moved on to the third round of the Niceville ITF Qualifier while four Gamecocks earned wins at the Georgia Tech Invitational.

Sophomore Paul Jubb advanced to the third round of the qualifying bracket at the Niceville ITF Futures on Saturday. The Great Britan native is one of five Gamecocks to play in individual tournaments this weekend. The other four, Thomas Mayronne, Yancy Dennis, Wood Benton and Thomas Brown, all competed at the Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta, Ga., where they participated in both the singles and doubles competition.

Four Gamecocks earned wins in singles competitions and South Carolina doubles pairings took two wins at the Georgia Tech Invitational. Two individuals wrapped up play at the Birmingham ITF Futures while Paul Jubb began qualifiers at the Niceville ITF Futures.

South Carolina senior Gabriel Friedrich won his second match of the Birmingham ITF Futures main draw to advance to the quarterfinals on Thursday. Friedrich is one of two Gamecocks at the competition alongside freshman Francisco Cerundolo, who will play in the doubles semifinals.

South Carolina senior Gabriel Friedrich won an outstanding match over the seventh seed of the Birmingham ITF Futures on Wednesday. The senior Gamecock earned his first win in the main draw over Juan Manuel Benitez Chavarriga, ranked 615 in the ATP. Friedrich and freshman Francisco Cerundolo, a freshman, both moved into the second round of the main draw.
