Today, the University of South Carolina and Clemson University kicked-off the Certified SC Grown Palmetto Series Food Drive in a coordinated effort to benefit Harvest Hope Food Bank and Golden Harvest Food Bank and tackle hunger within their communities.

The South Carolina Gamecocks and Georgia Bulldogs will have a 3:30 pm ET kickoff from Sanford Stadium (92,746) in Athens on Saturday, November 4, the SEC office announced today. The SEC Eastern Division showdown will be televised nationally on CBS as the first part of a double-header.

No. 3 South Carolina women’s soccer battled to a 1-1 draw against Georgia Sunday night at Stone Stadium. Senior midfielder Lindsey Lane registered her second goal of the season in the tie for the Gamecocks (14-1-1, 8-0-1), who pushed their unbeaten streak to 13 matches with the result against the Bulldogs (4-11-2, 0-8-1 SEC).

South Carolina men’s golf took home the team title for the third time in four years at the 2017 Camden Collegiate Invitational with a 12-shot win on Sunday. The Gamecocks shot 292 (+12) in the final round to finish 1-over as a team and were led by top-10 finishes from Keenan Huskey (6th), Caleb Proveaux (T-7th) and Scott Stevens (T-7th).

W. Volleyball. Gamecocks Lose in Five at Alabama

The South Carolina volleyball team lost in five sets at Alabama Sunday afternoon, 19-25, 25-18, 25-23, 22-25, 7-15. The Gamecocks are 10-10 for the year, 3-5 in the SEC. Mikayla Shields and Mikayla Robinson combined for 33 of the team’s 59 total kills for the night, and the defense set a season high for digs in a losing effort.

No. 3 South Carolina women's soccer (14-1-0, 8-0-0 SEC) plays host to Georgia (4-11-1, 0-8-0 SEC) in its regular-season home finale on Sun., Oct. 22. Kickoff from Stone Stadium is set for 6 p.m. ET, and the match can be seen on SEC Network+. With a win over the Bulldogs, the Gamecocks will clinch at least a share of the SEC Regular-Season Title for the second-straight year. Sunday will be Carolina's Senior Night, as seven student-athletes will be honored prior to the contest.
