South Carolina men’s tennis earned individual wins at the Georgia Tech Invitational and the Niceville ITF Futures on Sunday. Paul Jubb moved on to the third round of the Niceville ITF Qualifier while four Gamecocks earned wins at the Georgia Tech Invitational.

M. Basketball. Gamecocks Defeated by Virginia Tech in Hoops 4 Hurricane Relief Exhibition

South Carolina was defeated 86-67 by Virginia Tech in the team’s Hoops 4 Hurricane Relief exhibition on Sunday afternoon at Colonial Life Arena. Redshirt junior point guard Hassani Gravett led the Gamecocks with 15 points, scoring 13 in the second half.

W. Volleyball. South Carolina Falls at No. 6 Kentucky, 3-1

South Carolina was able to take a set off No. 6 Kentucky Sunday afternoon, but dropped a 3-1 road decision (25-20, 15-25, 22-25, 16-25). Five Gamecock hitters finished with eight or more kills, but the defense couldn’t slow down one of the nation’s best offenses. The Gamecocks are now 11-13 overall and 4-8 in the SEC, Kentucky improves to 20-3 (11-1 SEC).

W. Tennis. Gamecocks Close Fall Season With Strong Finish

South Carolina women’s tennis swept all six singles matches to close out the Kitty Harrison at UNC on Sunday. Overall on the three-day tournament, Carolina won 22 matches to end the fall season on a high note.

M. Tennis. Paul Jubb Advances in Niceville Futures

Sophomore Paul Jubb advanced to the third round of the qualifying bracket at the Niceville ITF Futures on Saturday. The Great Britan native is one of five Gamecocks to play in individual tournaments this weekend. The other four, Thomas Mayronne, Yancy Dennis, Wood Benton and Thomas Brown, all competed at the Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta, Ga., where they participated in both the singles and doubles competition.

M. Golf. Gamecocks in Contention After Solid Second Round in Hawaii

South Carolina posted another solid score in the second round of the Ka’anapali Collegiate Classic on Saturday, shooting a 5-under 279. The Gamecocks remain near the top of the leaderboard in third place at 21-under, just four shots off the leader – No. 12 LSU. Junior Scott Stevens, sophomore Caleb Proveaux and senior Keenan Huskey all shot under-par to lead Carolina.

South Carolina women's tennis won six matches on Saturday in the second day of the Kitty Harrison at North Carolina. Continuing off a strong first day, Carolina picked up a doubles and five singles wins heading into the final day of the last tournament of the fall.

South Carolina swimming and diving tallied 13 season-best times in Saturday’s home meet against No. 9 Auburn. The Gamecocks showed endurance after one of their toughest weeks of training to date, taking first in 12 total events. The No. 22 Gamecock women took first place in six events, fell 166.5-133.5. The No. 20 men also recorded six first-place finishes against the No. 9 team, taking a 164-131 loss.

M. Golf. Gamecocks T-2nd in Hawaii After Lights Out 268 (-16) in R1

South Carolina played lights out golf in the opening round of the 2017 Ka’anapali Collegiate Classic on Friday afternoon in Hawaii. The Gamecocks shot 268 (-16) and are tied for second with No. 12 LSU. All four counting scores in the lineup were under-par, led by junior Scott Stevens’ 65.
