South Carolina tennis’ Thomas Mayronne picked up a win in the first round of the ITA All-American Championships qualifying this morning. The senior was one of three Gamecocks to play in the event today, with Francisco Cerundolo falling to a ranked opponent in the first round of singles play as well as in the doubles bracket alongside senior Gabriel Friedrich.

South Carolina heated up in round two of The Jackrabbit shooting a 275 (-13) on Monday to climb three spots up the leaderboard to fifth in the team race. All five golfers in the lineup shot under-par led by junior Scott Stevens’ 5-under 67.

Senior Ainhoa Olarra carded a 2-under 70 to lead No. 11 South Carolina women's golf in round two of the ANNIKA Intercollegiate Monday at Olympic Hills Golf Club. The Gamecocks ended the day in sixth place with a 36-hole mark of 579 (+3) after posting a second-round 288 (E).

South Carolina got off to a solid start at The Jackrabbit on Sunday afternoon, shooting a 6-under round of 282. The talented duo of senior Keenan Huskey and junior Scott Stevens led the Gamecocks in the opening round as both shot in the 60s for the first time during the 2017-18 season. Huskey provided the highlight day with his first career hole-in-one in competition for the Garnet and Black.

Sophomores Anita Uwadia and Lois Kaye Go both carded a 71 (-1) on day one to pace the Gamecocks, who will enter Monday’s second round three shots off the lead.

The South Carolina volleyball team celebrated its annual Dig Pink match Sunday afternoon, and rode a strong offensive performance to take a 3-1 win over Tennessee (8-5, 1-3 SEC). The Gamecocks hit .301 for the match, with Mikayla Shields leading the way with 21 kills. With the win, the team improves to 9-6 this season, 2-1 in conference play.
