After four days of qualifying, two Gamecocks will advance to the main draw of the Birmingham ITF Futures event. Senior Gabriel Friedrich and freshman Francisco Cerundolo will begin competition in the main draw of the singles tournament on Tuesday.

No. 3 South Carolina women’s soccer (15-1-1, 9-0-1 SEC) opens play at the 2017 SEC Soccer Championship on Tue., Oct. 31, in the quarterfinal round against eighth-seeded Arkansas (10-9-1, 4-5-1 SEC). Kickoff from Orange Beach Sportsplex is slated for 6 p.m. ET, and the match between the top-seeded Gamecocks and Razorbacks will air on SEC Network.

South Carolina (5-8-2, 1-4-2 C-USA) tallied three unanswered goals en route to a 3-2 comeback win over Old Dominion (8-5-2, 5-2-0 C-USA) on Senior Day at Stone Stadium. Justin Sukow booted in the game-winner in the 82nd minute Sunday afternoon as the Gamecocks picked up three huge points in the Conference USA standings with the victory.

W. Volleyball. Volleyball Loses Sunday to Auburn, 3-1

Despite a season-best performance blocking at the net, South Carolina dropped a 3-1 decision at home to Auburn Sunday afternoon. The Gamecocks took the opening set, but lost the next three to drop their record to 10-12, 3-7 in SEC play. The Tigers avenged a loss on their home court to Carolina, and are now 12-8 this season (5-6 SEC).

W. Golf. Gamecocks Take Fourth At Landfall Tradition After Third Round Cancelled

South Carolina women's golf placed fourth at the Landfall Tradition after Sunday's final round at the Country Club of Landfall was canceled due to inclement weather. The No. 9 Gamecocks finished the event with a two-round mark of 577 (+1).
