The 27th-ranked South Carolina women's tennis team travels to Atlanta for the ITA Kick-Off Weekend, taking on No. 43 William & Mary on Friday at 10 a.m.

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- The South Carolina swimming and diving teams will close out the regular season this weekend at home with a two-day meet against East Carolina and Vanderbilt. The meet will get underway on Friday at 5 p.m. and on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Blatt P.E. Center/Carolina Natatorium.

South Carolina head softball coach Beverly Smith released the team's 2012 schedule today, highlighted by 28 home games and tournaments in Miami, Fla., and Riverside, Calif.

South Carolina men's tennis hosts three matches at the USC Indoor Facility this weekend, beginning with a 10 a.m. matchup with Elon on Fri., Jan. 27. The Gamecocks follow that with a doubleheader on Sun., Jan. 29, taking on No. 69 Georgia State at 10 a.m. and Davidson at 4 p.m. Admission is free for all matches.

At the request of several fans, South Carolina women's basketball is exploring the possibility of adding a third fan bus trip this season. The Gamecocks will make the arrangements for the trip to their game at Tennessee on Thu., Feb. 1, if 50 people sign up for the trip.

The South Carolina men's basketball team earned their first conference victory of the season over Alabama, 56-54, in SEC action on Wednesday night at Colonial Life Arena.

The South Carolina women's tennis team opened the new Carolina Tennis Center with a 7-0 win Wednesday over Furman in Columbia, S.C.
