South Carolina women's basketball senior guard Lindsey Spann is out for the remainder of the 2017-18 season with a knee injury, the team announced today. The Penn State graduate transfer played in 15 of the Gamecocks' 24 games this season.

South Carolina softball split games with Hofstra and FIU the second day of the Felsberg Invitational on Saturday at FIU. The Gamecocks posted an 11-0 win over the Bison in a six-inning game to start the day, but dropped a tough 3-1 game to the Panthers to close it out.

No. 25 South Carolina men's tennis is set for its third match of the weekend against Old Dominion on Sunday. The team is coming off Friday's doubleheader, which it split with a win over Howard and a loss to William & Mary. The Gamecocks take on the Monarchs at 1 p.m. in Norfolk, Va., at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.

M. Basketball. Gamecocks Fall to Gators at Home Saturday

Florida continued to solidify its postseason prospects with a 65-41 win over South Carolina on Saturday. The Gators (17-8, 8-4 SEC) never fell off the NCAA Tournament bubble but losing three of four games before beating LSU earlier in the week dropped them from the Top 25 and lessened their chances of winning the SEC regular-season championship. After the slump-breaking win over the Tigers, Florida crushed the Gamecocks (13-12, 4-8) at Colonial Life Arena by dominating the paint.
